WDS has started to issue new patches for the Napoleonic Battles series.

From the anouncement: "After a bit of a break we return to the Napoleonic Battles series of games with a new round of updates. As is generally our policy, we lead with a title or two (Campaign Waterloo & The Final Struggle demo) to get the new version out into wider rotation - then the balance of the series will follow in 30 - 60 days."

Also, it is important to note: "If you did a clean install to version 4.08x then all you have to do is apply the update. You can get them at the Napoleonic Battles Support Page.

However, if you are still on 4.07 or earlier, you will need to grab the new installer from your Store Account."

Scott Ludwig i am back afther 10 years or longer. I am now 48 and advising ukrainians. I am still very bad at strategic but hopefully i can install the games again.

scott Ludwig, I'm back after 10 years or more. I'm 48 now and I advise Ukrainians. I'm still very bad at strategy, but hopefully I can install the games again.

I can confirm, that I am no better at the games than I've been in years past. The good news is we have many good training officers to help you re-learn the games when ready.

Maarten! So sorry I am just now seeing this. Glad you are back and well. Advising Ukrainians! Amazing. Hope you stay safe, my friend. :)

An update on me so you know why you don't see me playing anymore: by 2023 I had pretty much burned out on the full game design work once WDS released my last project (Philippines '44) so by October of that year I assumed a new role with them which is to create maps for the Panzer Campaigns series. I really enjoy the work. Its simpler. Less stress over it.

David Freer has been posting on the WDS News pages about that work. We are working on the western USSR, eastern Poland, the Baltic States and Finland to finish up all of the mapping needed for Operation Barbarossa and other titles. I've never mapped so much swamp in my life! :frenchlol1:

Its been a challenge to map all of that swamp-woods-marsh mix but I've done it.

I don't play the games anymore but am an avid supporter of the club and its members. Hoping that you guys have a great rest of the year here and that you get your first win soon, Maarten.

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)
