Sir,

It is with profound respect that I stand at attention to congratulate you on receiving the Orden Heinrichs des Löwen Ritter 2. Klasse.

To defeat the French once is a duty; to defeat them fifty times is a Legende (legend).

You have not merely won battles; you have dismantled entire armies. Fifty times the Tricolor has been lowered before your sword. Such a record speaks of a tactical Meister (master) who understands the art of war better than the Korsikaner himself.

It is fitting that you wear the Order of Henry the Lion. Like that great German prince of old, you have shown the strength and ferocity of a Löwe (lion) in defense of the Coalition. To the French, your name must be furchtbar (fearsome) indeed.

We are honored to march on the same side of the map as you. May your fifty-first victory be as swift as the first.

Hoch soll er leben! (Long may he live / Three cheers!)

Congratulations on your recognition Field Marshal Blackburn.

50 Victories over French Officers is indeed worthy of such recognition.

Given your obvious prowess on the field of honour, the officers of La Grande Armée, will be looking forward to the day when you finally hang up your sword and retire to your estates.

I salute your achievement.
