Herr Offizier DuPlessis.

I have read the Order of the Day from Generalfeldmarschall "Vorwärts" with great satisfaction. Please accept my sincere Glückwunsch (congratulations) on being awarded the Landwehr Medaille.

We in the Coalition know well that battles are often won before the first shot is fired, in the mud of the drill square. By completing your maneuvers and earning this Auszeichnung (award), you have proven that you possess the Disziplin necessary to stand against the Tyrant.

The Prussian Landwehr has a fearsome reputation; to wear its medal is to carry the spirit of the Befreiungskriege (Wars of Liberation). Now that your training is complete, the real work begins.

We look forward to seeing your battalions marching alongside ours. The French shall soon learn to fear the sound of Prussian drums.

Vorwärts!
