I thank l'Empereur and his trusted Marshals for this commision and look forward to liberate europe, especially my native Germany, from the yoke of the Ancien Régime.

Waiting for my formal training to begin as soon as the resources of La Grande Armée permit, I will occupy myself with the theoretical study of warfare in this day and age, as well as wargaming some actions by myself.

I hope the day soon comes when I can test my mettle against the forces of the allies, bringing glory for France, the emperor, my commanding officers and, if such ambition is not too bold, myself.
