John,

If you are using MS Internet Explorer:

Select: Tools/Internet Options
In the Internet Options window, select the "Privacy" tab
Set the "privacy" level to "Medium".

If you are using Netscape 7x its:

Edit menu item -> Preferences

Select Privacy and Security -> Cookies

You might have to expand the Privacy and Security tree to see it.

Then make the selections you need to make. Press OK. See if it worked.

Thanks for all the help but I still cannot get a cookie set for this borad.

Basically when I log into the board and check the box that saves my logon info it doesd not.

After I type in the username and password and hit enter I get a message tha says logon successful.

If I go to post anything I have to re-enter my username and password...

John,
What browser are you using?
What security programs do you have running? (firewall, AV, Spyware)

Hm, I'm not sure what would be causing that.

You really should get an AV progam if nothing else (assuming your router works as a firewall). Don't know if that would clear up this problem or not though.

This is a really frustrating problem to say the least.

My call would be to use Netscape. Try it out and if it doesnt work then let us know.

What version of IE are you using? 5.5? 6.0?

I have had a problem, from time to time, with the main page of Wargame.ch. It will NOT directly (I use Netscape, BTW) let me enter a password. I have to start at the PZC and enter, then go to the MBC and enter (or the CCC) and then ALL 5 clubs are fine.

This doesn't happen very often, but perhaps once every few months or so.

In IE, go to Internet options, select PRIVACY and set to CUSTOM, then select the Advanced button and set cookies, there. This way you can override cookie handling and accept first party cookies and ALL session cookies.
