Mssr. Lau, To "enlist" in one of our armies, use the following link to get to the Club's Home Page: http://www.wargame.ch/wc/nwc/Napann1.htm From the home page you can choose to join either the glorious Grande Armee [^], or one of the Allied rabbles[V]. All of Tiller's Napoleonic games are played in the NWC, including the earlier BG series published by the, now defunct, TalonSoft. Everyone has their favorite game, mine is Eckmuhl, but you should have no problems finding someone to play either Wagram or NRC. Regards, Paco Maréchal M. Francisco Palomo Comte de Marseille Duc d'Abrantes Commandant - Division de Cavalerie de la Vieille Garde CO - Iere Corps de Armee |

Hey, men! Every time you write this "Grande Armee" one has a strong desire to read it as a "Great Army" not just a "big army" which was the initial meaning[;)][:p][^] Welcome Jeffery! Unfortunately you've taken the wrong side.[V] But, well, there is a good facet.... Well I mean there is a possibility to fight with one more opponent[8D]
![]()
Eyo Imperatorskogo Velichestva Leib-Kirassirskogo polku Polkovnik Anton Kosyanenko
|

What, you mean the grand army of the Union was actually just a "big" army? [:0] So what about this Red Square, is it really red? [8)]
Général de Division D.S. See no reason why should I break this tradition.[^] As for the Red square the Kremlin, the Mausoleum and the Pokrov's Cathedral (The cathedral of Vasily the Blessed) are red indeed. They form two sides of the square. The Historical miseum and the newly build gates - don't remember how they are called- are red as well. These two form the third side. Only the GUM (i.e. state universal store) has a building of light beige. So I suppose one can really call it "red". But the initial meaning was beautiful, since the word krasnyi (or krasnoi in other transliteration) meant not only red but also beautiful. And yes, it's one on the best looking places in Moscow. [8D] BTW if you need a makeshift guide in Moscow and are not afraid of my prononcation ....[:I]
![]()
Eyo Imperatorskogo Velichestva Leib-Kirassirskogo polku Polkovnik Anton Kosyanenko
|
