Post subject:  Big Thanks to GdD Mike Cox

Everyone prime your glasses... My family and I would like to publicly thank Mike Cox for giving us a personal tour of the Schug Carnero's Estate (winery) in Sonoma, California. Mike is the master vintner who oversees the winemaking process at the Estate. Mike freely gave of his time to give us a personal tour 'inside' the winery where the 'fruits' of his labor were slowly maturing into some of Sonoma Valley's finest pinot noirs, chardonays, merlots, and cabernets. Thanks, Mike, for a very friendly welcome and informative tour.

At least now I can be certain that when I capture one of Mike's supply wagons, it will be filled with only the finest vintage.

Salut et je vous remercie.

Sir Muddy! De rien!

Always a pleasure to meet a fellow online gamer face to face. Glad you made the effort to come up north for a bit. Hope the rest of your day was pleasant and you found a good meal. You certainly had the weather! I trust Monterey was a good trip as well.

Until we meet again,

One day I'll make it to the US for a combined battlefields and meeting fellow wargamers trip. I reckon I have friends in New England (half my ACW army resides there), Oklahoma (!!), LA and CA. [:I]

Quite a trip Dierk! (I on the other hand am trying to work out a Euro trip to visit former interns of mine, and I keep threating to visit Hamburg again.)

General Walter, may I ask where you are from? Your country of residence is not listed under your name like the rest of us [:D], and I am used to seeing your posts at the ACWGC and just assumed you were American!

Nope, I recently moved from Bern, Switzerland, to Hamburg, Germany--all the way from the mountains to the sea. Quite a long way for a European, but I reckon it can't impress an American or Canadian much--a mere 600 miles. [8)]
