| Post subject: | HPS or TS BG 'THAT IS THE QUESTION' |
Gents, I am returning to nappy gaming after a very long rest indeed. It’s about 4 years ago since I was seriously involved with the NWC and probably that long since my real last PBEM game. During this time I completely abandoned pc gaming to concentrate on work and the real life [8D] Now I have a little more time on my hands I would like to rekindle my brain cells that keep shouting ‘Hussar’ ‘Charge’ and other words from yesteryear! However It appears that the once loved Talonsoft Battle Ground games may not be at the for front of game play anymore, but now John Tillers HPS titles have pole position. As I own no HPS game, I have no idea how they stack up against TS games, what the differences / advantages or disadvantages are, and how easy it is to get gaming partners for either series within the NWC. So before I rush out and order my copies of HPS Waterloo / Russia and the like, I would appreciate a few replies on the personal preference and reasons why from a few club members.
