Gents,

I have woken from a 2 year nap and have found that Stephane has done an amazing job of combining the various standalones that existed previously into an Austerlitz campaign. I'd like to take a look at the campaign but don't know how to. In the old world, one made a copy of Eckmuhl, upgraded it with the 1.01 patch and downloaded his files as directed in order to use them. Now, it appears that this campaign downloads itself as a complete subfolder (version 1.01a) within the main Eckmuhl folder. When I start Eckmuhl, it tells me that it has an error reading the scenario file. Although I can get past this and look at an individual scenario, I still would have no idea how to start an Austerlitz campaign since I don't think that my Eckmuhl exe knows to look for the Austerlitz campaign.

Help from any techno-grognards would be appreciated.

The easiest way around that subfolder thing is to check "use paths" OFF in your WinZip before you extract. Alternatively, copy the files out of the subfolder into the main folder (or the relevant "Info", "Map" &c. folders).

Thanks. So in other words, as before, maintain an exact copy of Eckmuhl, only using the various downloads. And when starting the campaign.exe, it will know to look for Austerlitz instead of the Eckmuhl campaign file?

If it's designed properly as a campaign, yes.

I noticed this subfolder confusion problem often with downloads from certain sites.
