Post subject:  Rout check question.....

I posted this in CCC. But with EAW and Nappy engines quite similar I wonder if the answers will be different[:I]

Suppose enemy has two units in the hex. One being E quality disordered militia and the other C quality regulars in good order. I manage to take flanking shots at both of them. How does the rout check process pass:

1. First the regulars pass the check. With C quality and flanking modifier they have 2/3 probability to rout. Suppose they don't. Next the militia goes through the check and no doubt they rout leaving regulars disordered.

2. First the militia undergoes the check and routs. Regulars have to pass the check already being disordered which means 5/6 probability to rout. Suppose they do.

3. Militia fails the check and routs just like in 2. But the regulars unit passes the check in the state it ended the previous phase, i.e. in good order. And only then all the results of adjacent routs apply.

Now, if there was one more Xstrong unit which was eliminated with my fire will one of these units undergo the rout check once again? Will they have to do it if a unit in the adjacent hex routs?

Thanks in advance!
