I had a nice conversation with George Nafziger yesterday concerning his order of battle info and books he has published as well as discussing wargaming and where it is heading.

He will finally see his two volume set on the 1814 campaign published. If you enjoyed his 3 volume 1813 set then keep your wallet ready.

Noone covers the detail of a campaign quite like Mr. Nafziger.

As a sidenote his order of battle files are in Wordstar on an older PC and he uses a dot matrix printer to print them out. Yes, the files can be transferred to work with Word and the newer word processors but Word Star has a nice feature which allows him to put in the numbers of the OBs and then walk away while some 98 pages print!

A real gem of a guy and one that has helped me much in the past.

Bill Peterson's works are available at his website which is:

and Napoleonic books are at:

He doesnt get many orders anymore for the OBs. However, he will still offer them but one day plans on putting each series in its own book once his older PC gives up the 'host.
