It seems there are two French General Rogniat's in the Leipzig title. A GD Rogniat on Napoleon's staff and another GB Rogniat in charge of the engineers at the city of Leipzig with two colonels serving under him. My curiosity got the better of me so I looked up Rogniat and he was at Leipzig as a GD on Napoleon's staff. I surmise that the GB Rogniat is a placeholder as the engineer brigade commander. |
