Post subject:  couple thoughts on the upgrade 1814 game

I had a skimisher in a town hex. I tried to move a column on a road through the unit.

They both disordered. I think this is a bug.

also, same game.

I'm playing as the Prussians. Getting used to the new rules, I accidentally disordered several units on the march- far away from the enemy.

It took up to 20 turns to reorder them. I hope this is a glitch.

another problem. It is almost impossible to attack now because both sides seem to be suffering massive morale breakdowns as they try to advance.

I'm having trouble even closing with the enemy now. Seven hexes away the entire division was thrown into disorder and rout from a couple of artillery shots.

During this time period, units were able to advance in the face of fire.

I had an ENTIRE cavalry division disorder 14 hexes away from the enemy. They were fresh. No combat.

an ENTIRE division. I've never seen that before.

How are we supposed to play like this? and it's not historical to have routs and disordered units on this scale.

I think you have a problem with moral levels.

as per another post- I do like the idea of fatigue effects on combat and morale.

Skirmisher problem, maybe a bug but maybe wanted. Wonder if the same happens if the skirmishers moved into the hex with the infanty column, you should try that

And the cavalry, sounds like threat movement disorder kicked in, don't play with that rule.

BTW, which patch level do you play?
