Russian wagons are missing in the first battle of Altenburg if this route is taken. Version 4.07 pre-release. But the problem is hardly related to the patch.
We had to skip the battle.

Any clue if this might be intentional?
Wikipedia notes it as "The battle was the culmination of a raid..." so maybe it is intentional because the Coalition troops made a raid with cavalry only, any wagons would have slowed them considerably.

Nope. The Russian force is on the defensive posture.
Also, it would be strange to expect a rational allied commander to take up a battle against Napoleon's main army without ammo supply. The allied player is better of to exit the map concluding this as a Draw. The briefing also mentioned nothing on the supply problems. So, I am pretty sure it's a bug.

I run the other route of the campaign start and there are wagons in that one despite similar force composition.

BTW, whoever is stratinf the Campaign now can request the fix from WDS and they can provide a quick pre-release fix
