Hi all,
As an avid podcast listener, and a bit of podcaster myself, I thought I could share with you some of the content that I listen, and some in which I collaborate.
THE NAPOLEONICISTMade by Zack White, a young historian with great knowledge about the Napoleonic Wars, specially in the Peninsular War. His programs last about an hour, no more than two usually. I recommend his two programs about Napoleon's marshalls in Spain, the program about sir John Beresford and (as Austrian) the battle of Znaim.
THE NAPOLEONIC QUARTERLYA podcast with great collaborators. In every program Alexander Mikaberidze and Charles Esdaile are present. every program they deal with a quarter of a year between 1792 and 1815. In the first season they've dealt with 1792 and 1793, so no Napoleon yet. But they talk about very interesting topics with assorted guest historians. An interesting look about Poland in those years. Hope that they go on until 1815.
THE AGE OF NAPOLEONUnlike the other two that are quite new, this one has a long life, dealing with the life of the Emperor of the French. the few programs I've listened sounded great.
And, if you'll allow me some self-promotion....
HISTOCASTThis podcast in Spanish is where I collaborate quite often. Although we deal with many topics of military history, you may enjoy the following programs:
