The following video was released only a few weeks ago, and provides an excellent look at the organisation of the French Infantry circa 1803. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qR0sODDUT8U It's from a YouTube channel called Invicta. They've got a huge array of documentaries on various armies and famous units, both historical and fantasy, such as Warhammer 40K. One unit video that caught the eye was the "Rise of Napoleon's Old Guard (1789-1803)" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoJZrHWHWhI Both videos are relatively new, and I'm sure there'll be more coming in the future. |
