Good to see the Prussian landwher is C grade. The morales look good generally (looking at Dresden at the moment)
Silesian Landwehr is C, the rest (Kurmark, etc.) are D.
The team could tell you that we spent an entire MONTH in discussions on unit values before I put ONE order of battle file together. It was VERY complex. (well there was ONE scenario in progress but it was very small and only my way of getting some of the eager beavers into action)
A short run down:
French ligne for the most part the usual C. However, the raw recruits - D. Those foreign regiments vary. The Irish Legion got wiped out at Plagwitz. Only a couple hundred left when the battle was over and they were disbanded.
Cavalry - a mixed lot. The Dragoons from Russia - Light Cavalry. Those from elsewhere - Heavy Cavalry. For 1814 there are Dragoons from Spain (see one of the last icons in the cavalry set) who are veterans - hvy cav.
Note the Lancers - 1-6 wear the standard uniform. 7-9 have the more Polish looking uniform.
Austrians:
Their 4th battalions were landwehr. I determined the morale based on their recruiting region. Galicia - awful. Etc. I have a spreadsheet that I plan on making into a PDF at some time that will show each regiment's morale rating.
Cavalry - standard morale as per 1809 mainly.
Russians: not big battalions - many of the units are REGIMENTS. Morale good. I would like to have made them even better but I also know that some of the militia were incorporated into the line regiments.
Cavalry is outstanding as always. But not very large.
Guns - well you know the story here. Some of the corps have almost more units of artillery to move around then infantry!
Prussians - TONS of different unit types. And see the extra PDF I did on the regular and reserve and guard regiments for the infantry.
Frewilige Jagers - for the most part these units will melt away.
Guard Light cavalry - each squadron portrayed by its own icon.
Cavalry Frewilige Jagers - well I missed out on the National Cavalry and Landwehr cavalry types but the rest are there. Again not great morale.
Ok - the big one that we booted around was the Landwehr cav and National Cav regiments having lances. Some disagree with this but my feeling was that while the lance is nice for attacking they do not do well on defense. I felt that this was correct. Thus they can charge infantry well but look out otherwise.
Freicorps - take a peek at the Gohrde scenarios. v.Lutzow's Freicorps is present. v.Hellwig's Freicorps at Grossbeeren. Love those hussars!
Getting into the various allies - well too much to say here. Suffice it to say that I disagree with my ratings of the Saxons in part. I may actually increase them to be C morale for the Line infantry. They were poorly deployed by Ney at Dennewitz and overwhelmed at Grossbeeren. The "French" division with them was filled with former convicts. Probably the one thing I will definitely change come update time.
The maps from Jena accompanied by those of Leipzig fill up a lot of the area from Leipzig to Silesia and from Dresden to Berlin. No, I do not plan on building ONE large map. But the area covered in both games gives us a lot of latitude as to where we can have battles. It would be easy to use the Units.bmp file from this game in Jena (but not the 3D - the bases for Leipzig required special mapping in the game engine/editors so they would not work in the other games. But for 2D only games we could fight on the other maps.
There is a Fall.oob that is massive. I planned on doing a big fat scenario with it but never got around to it. Maybe sometime down the road ...
