By order of l'Empereur Napoleon I. and Le Grand Quartier-Général Impérial, Général de Division Michael Hödl has been re-activated and is hereby assigned to:


17ème Régiment d'Infanterie Légère,

1ère Brigade,

3ème Division,

V Corps d’Armée.


Please join me in welcoming Michael back to La Grande Armée and the NWC.

To all gallant warriors of the Allied Coalition,

Our spy network in Paris reports troubling news — it seems the Corsican Ogre’s propaganda is working better than we feared.

Once-loyal Norman peasants — good, honest folk who were proud subjects of Henry V — are now misguided enough to join Bonny’s ranks, as if they’ve never heard of the recent LGA retreats. Perhaps they were promised better food…

Even worse, it’s not just the peasants. Some noble officers — yes, real gentlemen — have also been tricked into retuning serivce to fight for Bonaparte. Maybe they simply couldn’t bear the sight of all these recent LGA defeats! Hard to blame them really — it’s been a rough campaign!

I urge all Coalition officers to sharpen their artillery doctrine and maintain discipline so we may continue on our current path of victory — despite the enemy hordes now approaching the theatre of operations.

Sir,

after years of hunting thr enimies of the Empire throw Europe my bones was tired.
But now, after years of healing and some bottles of fine french red wine and fine french food, i am back in the saddle.
And can't believe that the French army lost battles. :frenchsalute:
