CLUB

Since 01/01/99 "IWC CLUB" (INTERNATIONAL WARGAME CLUB) has been the new name for the old "ILWC CLUB" (INFOLOGO WARGAME CLUB). The reasons for this change and new features :

• We have a new server and a new sponsor.
  • you can expect better access to the site.
• The club is now automated for the registrations (online) of new players, games in play and results.
  • these are now registered immediately : you can check the list of players, the list of games or the ladders just after you register online.
• New ladders : One ladder for each game (PG2, AG..) and one for each group (SSI STARS,BG, SP)
  • easy to know who is best with a particular game or with all games!
• Players are now coming from all over the world (name with word "international")
  • a good way to meet peoples from various countries..
• Some stats inform you about the current number of members and number of GIPS.
  • stats are updated every end of week.
• Improved discussion boards where you can post and read some messages (asking for games?)
  • this is for you! Feel free to use it!

The next feature will be personal infos for every player with list of games owned and list of games finished (with result) and games in play. If you have some ideas (how to improve the club), email me. We are still looking for people who want to help us....think about it...and email me

SSI STAR

A new game is now included : Peoples General based on PG2 game with modern units. The game features a hypothetical war in the near future (2005-2010) between 2 big armies (Allied and Chinese) The interface is nearly the same as PG2 with new possibilities: Progressive visual fields (infos on enemy units may vary from unknown to everything (5 levels)) depending on the distance)
New units -> helicopters....
Improved fire range for lots of units...
Possibility to buy aerial attacks or unit bonus..
Opinion : No big surprises.....and not a very good idea...Still hoping for PG3 or Pacific General 2...

PANZER GENERAL

We have decided to separate PG in 2 games : PG DOS and PG WINDOWS (based on AG)
All the ladders have been set to 0 after the 01/01/99 because of the automated ladder. Now the ladders won't be reset anymore...Every result you will have will be recorded for a long time! It is not very hard to climb up in the ladder..for the moment.... But don't wait too long...
Start some games by sending challenges to players with email or by posting some messages. You may also ask me (panzerstef) about opponents...
About the Rules: the rule duel is not working correctly with the automated registrations.. We are working on this...until the time the rule will work perfectly.. Duels will be considered as normal games..sorry about this..

PG2 league

A multi-player tournament with teams of 4 players...advised for experimented players only.. you need to share knowledge and strategy with your teammates!
If you want to play alone, this tourney is not for you!!!
If you are interested, ask me (PanzerStef) and go here The first round is now finished....the second will start in March..

PG2 99 tournament:

A dynamic ladder where you are playing duels to climb up (if you win) (or down if you lose) the ladder.. a new duel every month...
The first duel was Kanev and is just finished (with 14 players)
The second duel is Operation Nordwind (with 22 players)
New players may registered every month.
