IWC PG2 99 Tournament Rules

ENROLMENT

Any IWC Club member may play in this Tournament (Use this link to register at IWC CLub). New players may be added every month.

I need your alias, your email address, your country , the PG2 language (Fr, UK, US, Ger) and PG2 Version (1.00,1.01,1.02) and the password you will use in your games.

For more details or for registration you may contact "PANZERSTEF" who will be the Tourney master for this Tournament.

ORGANISATION

All the players will be included in a "Dynamic Ladder".

Every month, you will play A DUEL ( the same scenario played twice, one with each side (Axis and Allied) so 2 games)

The WINNER of the Duel will climb up the Dynamic Ladder...The Loser will go down.

The Scenario and the Settings will be defined by me (PanzerStef).

PLAYING:

The DUELS willl be : Player N°1 vs N°2, N°3 vs N°4, N°5 vs N°6,......The player with the best rank will start the first turn of the Duel

ALL THE GAMES WILL STOP AFTER 6 WEEKS IN THIS TOURNEY (a special period can be added)

For the games not finished, players may agree on the winner of the 2 games. Otherwise I will decide on who is the WINNER (sorry slow players)

The Dynamic Ladder will be modified depending on the results of the Duels.

SPECIFIC RULES:

* TO WIN THE DUEL, you need to WIN BOTH GAMES, or WIN A GAME BEFORE your opponent (number of turns)

* If both players win 1 game in the same turn, the result of the Duel will be a Draw.

* The player who win the duel with 2 victories will climb up 2 Ranks

* The player who win the duel with 1 victory will climb up 1 Rank

* The player who lose the duel with 1 victory will go down 1 Rank

* The player who lose the duel with 2 defeats will go down 2 Ranks

* The player who do not play a single turn during one round will lost the Duel (of course) and one more rank (so he will lost 1 or 2 ranks)

* The player who do not play a single turn during 2 rounds will be deleted from the Ladder.

REGISTERING GAMES

I will register all the games (except games canceled) at the IWC club

The result of the games shoud be known after 6 weeks (max) for the tourney but players may continue the games if they want.

BASIC RULES

VERSION: Only PG2 versions V1.01 and V1.02 are allowed : V1.00 is forbidden due to some bugs.

Using Modified Equipment is forbidden and considered as cheating !

REPLAY: Watching the replays is greatly adviced for every player in order to know what happen.
Report me any strange things appearing when watching a replay :problems in replays may happen because of bugs or because of cheaters!

BUGS: ALWAYS QUIT PG2 and RUN PG2 again before starting ANY NEW GAME to avoid THE PASSWORD BUG!
A COMPATIBILITY BUG may appear if one player has the French PG2 game. If your game crash often, tell me immediately!

SENDING TURNS:    USE WINZIP TO SEND YOUR SAVEGAMES (a Zip file (with the 2 savegames included) attached to the email).
    CHOOSE A NAME for your savegame with following infos : Scenario + Name_of_Player + Country Side + Turn :
        ex: "SedanStefGer01" for the German turn 1 of Sedan Game played by Stef.
        ex: "SedanBahamutFR01" for the French turn 1 of Sedan Game played by Bahamut.
    USE THE EMAIL TITLE with following infos: PG2 99 Scenario + Turn :
        ex : " PG2 99 SEDAN 01" -> Turn 01 in game Sedan
    DON'T FORGET TO SEND YOUR SAVEGAME TO YOUR OPPONENT PLAYER WITH A COPY TO ME !

!!!RESTARTING TURNS IS TOTALLY FORBIDDEN AND CONSIDERED AS CHEATING!!!
!!!I WILL CHECK SAVEGAMES IN ORDER TO LOOK FOR CHEATERS!!!

REWARDS/RESULTS:

Rewards will depend on how the PG2 99 tournament is going.

Any player who do not agree/act according these rules will be deleted from this tournament!
