Current Eastern Theater Headquarters' Flag

The Eastern Theater HQ shall fly a new banner, under the Command of Gen Robert Weir.
This unique flag combines elements of both the CSA 1st National and the CSA Battle flag.
The field contains three stripes, the top and bottom red, representing the two eastern theater armies,
the Army of Northern Virginia and the Army of Georgia, they are separated by a White stripe,
representing the purity of their cause.
The red canton, which connects the two army stripes is framed by the left half of a St. Andrews cross,
the cross blue with white outline, containing six white stars representing the six Corps of both armies,
three toward the top, three below. Within the Red canton is a sun, representing the Eastern Theater
as the sun rises in the east.

Flag designed by Gen Robert Weir, proprietor of the CSA Metal Works, LLC and dedicated on 9 August 2009
