Anglo Dutch Dispatch

Take Up the Shilling/Wait for the Waggon

Greetings, gentlemen, and welcome to the Anglo-Dutch Dispatch. Don't forget that we have our quite unique London Gazette, which is updated regularly with all our Army's news and information.

British Coin, 1791

Our tournaments are flying along with Brigadier General Neil Henderson's Waffles Wager being won by Colonel Collin Gaskell (congratulations Sir!), RMA Top Cat in which I'm getting thrashed by Brigadier General BW Smith and of course the Wellington Boot … err Cup is still in full swing with the final game being between Field-Marshal Paul Harris and Lieutenant General Ken Jones, good luck to you both.

One small matter to bring to everybody's attention is our lack of new recruits over the last couple of months. This is not simply a problem for the Anglo-Dutch army but for all Allied armies. May I ask all of you now to approach friends or relatives who may be interested to have a look at what the club has to offer. That is it for now, chaps, it remains for me to wish you all a very prosperous new year!

It gives me the greatest pleasure to announce the following promotions, decorations and commissions.

God save King George!!
