Welcome to the Club, Billy Yank! We are glad to have you, even though you are on the wrong side. I think you will find a number of past board gamers here of the AH and SPI games. Are you saying you want to play on Vassal Rise and Fall of the 3rd Reich by AH? You are very ambitious. I am retired too, but I STILL don't think I have time to play that beast. It is on my shelf, but I never ventured to attempt it. It is huge in scope and ranks AH highest complexity if I remember correctly. Let us know if you get any takers on that one, I would love to be a witness to the game.

Hey Kent,

Thanks for the warm welcome. Indeed I'd enjoy playing 3rd Reich via Vassal. While it has been many (many) years since I have played the game I've never played on Vassal. As for complication I think it is comprehensive but it's not SPI's War in the East  I think most people are content to play Strategic Command War in Europe which is pretty much the same game on the computer. But you know being retired and getting to a be a kid again I think it would be fun to crack some old board game open.

In any event, I have completed my training game and I look forward to enjoying this community and the WDS ACW series with you fine folks.

Regards,
