American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

Looking for an opponent to play the rebel side in scenario "08e - 7 Days McDowell." It's the big one but rated "excellent" in the Game Guides. Would like to give it a try before my bones get too old. Prefer playing with all OR checked except for man def fire and artillery capture. Given its size, I could realistically do 2-4 turns a week. If interested, drop me a line.

I am sorely tempted. I am already in several long (80+) turn games at the moment or I would. That one looks to be a ride indeed!

If you haven't found someone by the end of the month who has a more open schedule and you can deal with possibly not an every day response (but some days multiple responses) email me and I will commit. At this moment I am sure I would have days that I couldn't respond because some of the long ones take some real time to complete a turn.

Thank you for picking up my gauntlet as it gets lonely out here twisting in the wind for over a week. I also appreciate your forthrightness about turn exchanges since I am in the same situation. Some weeks I could do perhaps 4 or 5; others only 2 to 3. In any case we understand each other's predicament of unpredictability, as it were, and that is all that matters. So I will gladly mark my calendar for the end of this month--thankful that the gods have blessed September with only 30 days.
