American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

I downloaded the graphics mod for Chickamauga from the Old Banshee site today, and I'm seeing errors with the images.

Not that images aren't displaying correctly or completely...rather, images for Confederates are showing up for Union units, and vice-versa.

Ex: I have a Union unit with an image of an Alabama Infantry flag and a Confederate soldier, another Union unit with the Republic of LA flag and a Confederate soldier, Confederate flags and soldiers for other Union troops, and I have Union flags for many of the Confederate units.

Just wanted to pass it along in case anyone from Old Banshee wanted to look into it and possibly fix it. If you need more detail, let me know (if I find anything else that jumps out at me, I'll bring it up).

Hi, Captain,

That happened to me once, and I think it was because I neglected to download the oob files. Check Banshee's website and see if there are oob files for Chickamauga there.

I am not totally sure but I think you have to reapply the HPS updates after installing the Banshee mods.

Hi -
I'm the one who worked on this mod.
As mentioned previously in the thread, there are detailed instructions included in the download that you can follow, but generally here's the procedure you want to follow:

1) Update to the latest HPS patch level
2) Download the Old Banshee Mod
3) Replace the HPS "bmp" files with the Units, Leaders, etc., "bmp" files included in the Old Banshee download. These are stored in the "info" folder wherever the game is installed.
4) Here's the key part: You also need to Replace the HPS "oob" files with the ones included in the OldBanshee download. These go into the base folder where the game is installed. Without doing this, you'll see the behavior described.

Thought I did that before (exactly as described), but I'll try it again and see. I may have forgotten the .oobs.
