If so, let's dance!

How about the long Saratoga campaign, or the revised battle of Greensprings?

Al,
I'm finishing up a game with him, and he said he'd be slow through the end of the holiday season.

Thanks Gary! His gout must be kickin' up again. hehehe...

More likely, someone has mistaken him for Santy Clause with that Redcoat, hopped on his lap and started reciting their Christmas list.

Still here Major Amos, though command has lessened my burden till after Boxing Day, er that's Christmas to you rustics.

But, soon after that I promise a nice gift for you sir. A defeat, all wrapped up in pretty red, white, and blue ribbons now what what?

Now tell us more about this ear-boxing day?

You know Phil, I don't really have room for another game...but it seems you've been stomping on too many of my compatriots...so I feel compelled to meet you on the field and see what I can do about adding another loss to your list...care to meet me?

Challenges accepted gents. We have about 4 weeks to flog, I mean whip our men into shape. Bring adequate tax revenue please. We do not take pitchforks, portraits of your clan, or wooden teeth.

I'll pay my taxes with captured British uniforms and armorments...I'm sure the crown would like to have the stuff back...the men that go along with those items won't be returning though.

I hope you both fare better than I. Two draws and two losses is my total. The rest of us will have to live vicariously through you!

Actually, the good General Natta is doing the Seasonal round of parties in New York for the Winter, drinking, comparing wigs/face powder/moles, drinking and courting - while I'm freezing my butt off here at Valley Forge! (did I mention he might be drinking as well??)

What he doesn't know is that we've got 20 new games of Trenton (variant b!) started against his hessian fop...
(Now where did I put my paddle?) well, we do need the points, and it would be historically accurate of course...
