<font color="red"><b><i>Update: We currently have a full complement of 15 commanders for each side, so the recruiting office has closed.</i></b></font id="red">
In the 3rd year of the great turtle migration the Indian Alliance teamed with the French Comamnders to take on a team of British and Patriot Commanders in a Tournament for control of the colonies.
Round 1 of that Tourney has just about ended and although the French & Indian Team hold the advantage in overall points it is not enough for them to claim victory so a second round of matches is about to begin.
And you may be able to join the competition if you are interested.
First, you might want to check out the web site to see what this is all about
http://games.homestead.com/IA2003.html
Second, we will be using a custom scenario from the F&IW Game for Round 2, so obviously you will need to have that title in your collection. The scenario will have about 30 turns and you should be prepared to do at least 2-3 turns a week.
Third, since this is a team competition we are limited by how many players we can accommodate based on how many from each team we get to sign up.
At the current time we have 14 French Commanders and IA Chiefs and <s>12</s> 13 British and Patriot Commanders signed up. List is on the web site.
So at a minimum we are looking for <s>2</s> 1 more British or American Army Commanders. If interested reply to this post.
If I happened to miss any French Commanders or Indian Chiefs who are interested in playing -- current list at the web site -- the can also reply to this post.
That of course will increase the number of British and American Army players we will need. So if you see a British or American has already replied, you may still get an opportunity
..and one last item. The way this is constructed half the members of each team will play each side in the actual game scenario. So half the members of the F&IA team will be playing the "redcoat/loyalist" side in the game and half the member of the British and American Team will be commanding the "french/indian" troops in the game.
