This is really a continuation of thread on a next possible tournment, but I need some inputs on the 1812 scenarios to do some research. This is not period I know much about, nor do I have many references. So a couple of questions -- reply to any or all.

Balance. The latest data suggests that the following scenarios have had a fair amount of play and are balanced (ie opportunites for both sides to win). They are: 11-Burlinton Heights_A, 45 Ft George, 63 Longwoods, 99 Stoney Creek_B, 157 Sacketts Harbor_B. Any reason not to believe this? Others?

Best Small Scenario. What is the best small scenario among the stock scenarios (either what is on the disk or the expansion pack on the HPS web site? Best means you might describe it using words such as fun, interesting, challenging, exciting,..........

Big Sceanrio with multiple theaters. By mulitple theaters I mean a scenario like Brandywine in 1776, where you could easily end up fighting two separate battles. Do any of the 1812 scenarios lend themselves to this type of game.

Well documented battle. Does anyone know of any books that document any of the battles in terms of how the action evolved historically, with maps showing troop locations during the course of the battle.

Thanks in advance.
