I neglected to post the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Bushy Run, fought on August 5-6, 1763, in western Pennsylvania, between a British column under the command of Colonel Henry Bouquet and a combined force of Delaware, Shawnee, Mingo, and Huron warriors. This action occurred during Pontiac's Rebellion. Though the British suffered serious losses, they routed the native forces and successfully relieved the garrison of Fort Pitt. I have a personnal connection in that a GGGGrandmother was born in Fort Pitt that year! Elizabeth Piety...daughter of Austin Piety, an english officer.

In my travels in July, I had a chance to visit the site and receive a personnal tour by the excellant volunteers who take care of the site!

Would make for a great scenario!! :D

First link is the Museum site. Second link is a neat analysis on confirmation of the battlefield location. Includes a recent topomap.
