A mystery: the 1812 manual states that Indians are either in column or extended line, never in line formation. At Chrysler's Farm, my two Mohawk companies are in standard line formation and refuse to go into extended line. The error code says "only light infantry and militia can go into extended line". Now what to make of this?

That's because those particular Mohwaks have succumbed to the ramblings of the nefarious Tecumseh

...or more likely in the oob they have a unit desgnation of L "light" instead of N "native".

You can still use extended line with them, they just are practised in the fine art of close order drill.

I don't know if this would be an error or little known fact for this particular group.

Sounds like an error to me...I'll check the OOB and correct as necessary...will go out in the next patch from HPS.

Thanks for pointing it out.
