| I have distributed emails to all 50 state societies
of the "Sons of the American Revolution" providing them
with links to the Campaign 1776 game, and a link to this
club as well. There is also a Florida State Society board
meeting where a friend of mine will be "pitching" the wargame
 as well.

But frankly, I'm a little pessemistic that there will be much
response from this old fellers. Which is a shame, because there
are 20,000 "old fellers" of the SAR all around the country.
Naturally, not all of them have computers, let alone an interest
in electronic wargaming. But eventually, the time will come.

But there is another avenue that I will be pursuing right
after Halloween! While there are 20,000 SAR members
(all male membership), there are 200,000 DAR members
 (all female membership).

I can assure you, there will be few of them interested in
the game. But Christmas is-a-coming, gentlemen! And these
200,000 women have at least 200,000 MALE relatives as well!

And there is the distinct possibility that these 200,000 will
be wondering just WHAT to give their sons, fathers, brothers
and husbands that will help advance the "Revolutionary Cause"!

So, in the first week of November, I will be writing them
as a Past President of a chapter of the Sons of the American
Revolution. I only have a few email addresses per state, but
I think it may snowball a bit (I hope anyway).

If we only get 1% of the DAR membership to buy a copy as a
gift, that would be 2000 new games out there. And if only
HALF of them get opened and tried, that would be 1000 users.

And if HALF of those find there way to this site... well
that would be practically amazing, yes?

I don't want to get my hopes up... but we have to start
somewhere.... and we have to start some time. The next
30 days will be the start!

P.S. Does anyone know someone at the game company willing
to include a flyer about this club? It would help customer
response to know there is at least one "support group" out
 there!
