Would it be possible for the "Powers that Be" on
this list to set aside a page where Wish List requests
could be submitted and recorded? It could be run
something like a "guest page".

But I do think we need a central place to keep these
ideas.... so they aren't scattered amongst dozens of
disparate posts.

What would be some "wishes" for Campaign 1776,
for example?

1) A button to push to accelerate all the "firings" into
just a second or two. While I am keenly aware of the
players who want to see every shot and see exactly what
is happening with each shot.... I'm sure there are those
who would be happy to every once in a while, turn a switch,
and just see the whole screen erupt with firings, and
then quickly proceed to the next turn.

2) Another "wished for" item might be a setting where
a disrupted unit (or a unit with high fatigue?) has
less powerful Defensive Fire (which would simulate the
unit's weakened ability to maintain a high pace of well
regulated volley fire).

3) Another "wish" ... which I think would be a GREAT
enhancement to market the software, is a place to
load in digital pictures of players (children, relatives,
drinking buddies and so forth), and make them assignable
to the leader icons of various units. Think what a
HOOT that would be when the game gets switched on!
I'm going to try to do this manually... but it would
be great if there were just a few buttons to click
on!

4) And one more BIG help would be a way of color coding
units (with colors or patterns?) so that when a unit
comes blasting out of nowhere... you can tell right away
whether it is Cavalry, Musket or Rifle unit.

I'm sure I could think of another "wish" or two.
But that's good enough for now.

Naturally, not all wishes are created equal. Some wishes
are just plumb crazy I'm sure. Maybe the ones here are
particularly so.

But wouldn't it be great if we could all put our wishes
into a single page?
