I have posted a scenario for anyone who is interested in seeing what a medium to large size seven Years War stand-up type battle might look within this game engine. You can download it at:

http://www.geocities.com/albert_amos/game_files.htm

"8:00 am July 4th, 1777 *Hypothetical* Two Seven Year War styled what-if armies square off for a 6-hour battle. The 'Prussians' field approximately 32,000 men with 96 cannon while the 'Austrians' field approximately 48,000 men and 144 cannon. NOTES: Many new concepts. Light troops and cavalry coys broken into 4 secitons to allow more proper skirmish tactics. (see how Grenz and Hussars are deployed for exmaple.) Artillery is setup in two gun sections. Cavalry is coded differently for each type. Cuirassiers are coded to melee well. Dragoons are coded for average performance. Hussars are coded to refelct role of screen/skirmishing over battle cavalry function. Stacking is limited to 200 men or 4 counters. This will allow squadrons and companies to stack together, and infantry bns after suffering heavy losses. Additional officers provided for rallying and leading. *** This scenario should show how the EAW engine can handle most of the battles of the Seven Years War. Skirmishes between light troops can be of small numbers, but still be very challenging with the provided breakdown. Minor and average sized battle between regular armies will do very well. Large to Mega Sized (Leuthen, Gross Jagersdorf, etc) would lend them selves to multi-player games. I hope this scenario/experiment sparks some interest. (Because, I'd love to do a few games for John covering the European fighting from 1740 - 1765.)"

Please feel free to use this thread for feedback.

NOTE: There is no special bmp files to display leader faces so an error message may appear when you attempt to play this scenario. You may blow on through it with no ill effect. The game will play, but you will not see any leader in the leader box, just the flag.
