Colonial Campaigns Club (CCC)

I have played a number of scenarios now with fixed units. Most of the time they are set up so they are fixed until their release time unless fired upon earlier. This makes sense to me and I understand the concept of having fixed units to cause a desired effect of having certain units arrive later in the battle.

I would however, like to make a suggestion to the designers. I believe it would be sensible to have all units of a regiment release if any unit in that regiment is fired upon. After all the way we talk about 18th century warfare and the type of historical movement we encourage consists of regiments or battalions moving together and not indivdual companies moving about on their own. Doesn't it make sense,therefore, that if all the companies of a regiment are fixed in place in adjacent hexes, if one company can be activated when fired upon the the entire regiment should do so?
