Please remember that the comments expressed on the boards are, for the most part, expressing an individuals OPINION or suggestion about a variety of topics.
NONE of these would become club policy without a FULL review by the Club staff.
Other suggestions about the games and the way they operate, internally, are again someones SUGGESTIONS and these would have to run the full gamut of the programmers and/or developers before seeing the light of day, in a game.
Sometimes, new ideas expressed by the players of games do find their way into games, but it is a long process and most of the suggestions do not get implemented. The ideas might be good, but they might not fit in the overall scheme of things.
Sometimes these discussions get heated as individual opinions do not always mesh and are often diametrically opposite of anothers ideas of the way things should be.
And, sometimes these discussions get out of hand.
Please remember that everyone should be able to express their opinions.
Some discussions, lately, have been getting more heated, whether or not all participants think their comments caused the heated exchanges.
Please be mindful that we are here to play games; the discussions are secondary, but are very important as they often give us insight to better play the games.
Another aspect is the role playing part of many of our discussions. It is fun for many of us to poke fun at other club members, IN A ROLE PLAYING CAPACITY and generally these proceed very well and are enjoyed by many, many club members. Some of these antics can be quite humorous and serve as a point of cameraderie among the various factions of the club.
Sometimes the discussions about game subjects and role playing discussions become intertwined and that is not always apparent to everyone.
Please remember that people have good ideas and people have bad ideas, but everyone should be able to express those, good or bad.
We all like to debate issues on a wide variety of subjects, but we need to be mindful that there are people in these discussions that have worked very hard to bring us the best product they can and they are continuing to work on these products whether in scenario design or in the actual workings of the games.
None of us here have the final say in what will or will not be put into the games, some have much more input than others, but the ultimate decisions are made by the programmers and the developers. We can only kibbitz from the sidelines.
