My dear Native Killers of Deers:

I have been thinking about the use of Indian forces in some new scenarios. I'm hoping for some answers to a couple of key questions:

1) I presume Indians can melee infantry units, yes?

2) I recall someone saying that Indian units always fight in Extended order. If this is true, what is the percentage reduction in losses when fired upon in extended order? If a salvo by an opponent ordinarily kills 4, would an extended-order unit fired upon, on average, experience 2 killed?

3) If Indians *can* melee, what is the reduction in potency in a melee? 50%? 30%? 75%?

I look forward to some basic education in the use of Indian tokens.
