By Order of His Most Christian Majesty, Louis King of France,

Monsieur Armand Lauzon, having done good and loyal service upon the battlefields of North America, has been promoted to the rank of <i>Enseigne</i> in Battalion Volontaires-Etrangers de Lauzon/Brigade des Volontaires.

His Most Christian Majesty has also seen fit to grant him the title of <i>Chevalier</i> and he may now style himself, Armand <i>Chevalier </i>du Lauzon.
