I have been contemplating (and will soon test) the different outcomes of having an army of Low Quality troops, with HIGH QUALITY commanders vs. an army of HIGH quality troops, with LOW quality commanders.

A preliminary estimate would suggest that HIGH QUALITY troops with lousy commanders would disrupt easily, but develop high fatigue slowly.

Conversely, LOW quality troops with HIGH quality commanders would disrupt more slowly, while developing fatigue at a rate we would expect from low quality troops.

Is there general agreement that whether by fatigue or by disruption, that either army would rout about as quickly? Or would one configuration lead to routing more quickly?

Regards,

Ensign Brooks
