I noticed this file from Neil Henderson:

New Units.bmp - 1776\Info - Neil Henderson -- Make sure and unzip this into the \Info subdirectory to get it to work.

I checked this file out. It's got some great "head shots" of units. For example, for artillery, instead of just seeing a soldier's bust with a ramrod in his arm (that can be confused with a rifle if you are relying on peripheral vision)... you see a dramatically different image: a cannon with wheel placed in front of the soldier.

The new supply wagons are ALSO excellent!

Thanks Neil! I have already turned cavalry units into depictions of men on horseback for my personal use. I'll see if I can clean it up some (using Neil's artillery images), and send it in as another alternative.
