Colonial Campaigns Club (CCC)

The new issue of Strategy and Tactics has arrived and the game is The French & Indian War.

Map covers the continent east of the Mississippi from Florida to hudson Bay. Units are regiments, and turns are year long, though there are 4 impulses to a turn. The rules are fairly hefty going to 27pp, including notes and charts.

There are two companion articles, one an overview of the war and personalities. Not much new, butu well illustrated and a several good maps. The second is a summary of the battles of the war, giving a rough outline of forces involved. Maps are just so so.

The magazine only version of the issue can be found at Borders, etc. (At least around here. Worth a look.
