Officers of the Colonial American Army, The French Army, The British Armies in America, and The Indian Alliance, let it be known that <i>Ensign Jeff Laub</i>, of the Second Regiment of the Second North Carolina, of the Second Brigade, of The Second Division, of The Grand Army, of The Colonial American Army, is this day forward commissioned to the position of <b>Lieutenant</b> in the Colonial American Army. He is hereby granted the authority necessary to perform any and all duties required by the Grand Army Commander and shall be charged with the continued brilliant leadership of the Second North Carolina’s Second Regiment as well as upholding and promoting the honor of the Grand Army at all times.

It is so ordered this 30th day of September by His Excellency Lieutenant General Lucas Kling, Commander-in-Chief of the Colonial American Army.
