I need some help in dealing with a possible game bug. In the Campaign Madness on the Monongahela I had a band of indians on the beach next to the river that meleed an enemy unit (in extended formation) while the enemy was just reaching the shore but were still in their canoes. I won the melee and ended in the water up to my Indain's Loincloths. Now they can not get back on shore, nor change to column formation. All they can do is shoot their arrows and throw tomahawks.

How do I get them back on the beach?
