When planning the next round of patches, perhaps it would be worthwhile sparing a thought for the puny little <b>rockets</b>, at the moment barely more than damp squibs. (NB: no engine changes required, just one or two OOB & pdt alterations[:D])


1./ Surely they're a lot lighter than the average gun, so maybe they ought to count as "horse artillery"?

2./ Perhaps there should be a <i>minimum</i> range for rockets? Say 3 hexes?

3./ Should the firefactor for rockets be increased? Maybe 2 up to range 8 rather than just 1 at all ranges? (Not sure about this, since rockets were notoriously inaccurate, but eager to hear other folks' views)

4./ If most British guns are in fact merely rockets - or else other light calibre guns - maybe the victory point value for them should be reduced by say 50% due to their weak firepower? Otherwise, they're little more than mobile victory points for the enemy to accumulate (and for the British player to have to guard to prevent their capture)


Any thoughts?
