After quite a bit of discussion and start-up issues regarding movement constraints, the first foursome of play-testers have a mini report after completing 9 turns out of 600.

If you have not heard of this scenario... it's a custom game designed by Al Amos and it is based on 1776.

The game's battlefield is probably the largest of all 3 CCC games and has extremely interesting terrain, not to mention the addition of spies, civilians, and horse artillery.

Although I will not provide you with our post-game report and commentary at this time... I did want to give you the feeling that this is an incredibly good change of pace from other CCC battles. I think it offers a phenomenal opportunity for multi-player battles and is less good for one-on-one play.

Bottom line:
Great job by Al, and a wonderful new multi-player battlefield that will get a lot of use and provide countless hours of fun.

I would like to challenge you to find 3 other people to join you in initiating a second group of 4 play-testers to play test the scenario and then to comment on your findings, even if you don't play farther than 20-30 turns.

Note: I tried to find the former thread that was established by Al on his design notes and download info but it must now be in archive. I can forward some of the download info and design details from Al if you e-mail me.
