I recently saw an episode of the TV show entitled, "If Walls Could Talk". The show covered a colonial house that was the site for an American battery in the War of 1812. The owners of the house uncovered 2 cannonballs which looked huge and were reported to be 50 ponders. Does this sound right? I did not think that cannons or mortars were that large. I thought 32 pounders was the max poundage. I am sure you will be able to enlighten us on this subject.

Best Regards to All and Happy Spring!
