Colonial Campaigns Club (CCC)

My wife and I are watching a 2 hour DVD entitled, "Secrets of the Free Masons" (History Channel documentary) that was given to us by a director of the local public TV station. It is quite facinating and I had no idea of the breadth of this organization across the globe and how it spans all religions and races and sexes. Even more interesting is the relationship on key Free Masons based in North America (such as Washington and Benjamin Franklin) and how they leveraged the Masonic network in Europe to recruit individuals like Lafayette and von Steuben.

I would be very interested if our members can use this thread to expound on this subject as it realtes to the CCC. I believe that this is the 275th anniversary of this organization in North America.

Disclaimer: I am not a member and have no real inside knowledge of the organization, but find it interesting as it realtes to the CCC in a big way as 40% of the American officers may have been members of the group.
