I went to my first re-enactment, today.

They had a 2 day event right on Boston Common and this was the first one that was done in downtown Boston. There were probably 400+ people around for the actual battle scene. The Battle Scene was very well planned out. It was of no particular battle, but it really gave the flavor of the battles. There were about 60+ British re-enactors and about 30+ Colonials.

The British were very well drilled and represented about 6 regiments and one artillery unit. One of the regiments as the 10th Regiment of Foot and a 15 year old neighbor of mine was one of them. He has been re-enacting for a couple of years, now and is really into it.

I will post a couple of pictures, soon. I was told that the spectators were VERY close to this battle scene, unlike most other re-enactions.
