 Post subject: Battle of Fort ligonier?

I am trying to make a scenario of this battle but I am having a hard time finding accurate reports, I have read one report saying the British had 2200 troops at ft Ligonier and some say 1500 troops. Same for the French some say 590 and other reports state 1400 men, I tend to think that the higher troop reports are accurate because it was stated in a letter that Burd wrote to his wife soon after the battle. I have also read that Cherokee & Catawba Indians fought for the British in this battle?

Does anybody else have any info on this battle?
