For those of you in North America... you may want to try to catch this multi-episode historical documentary on the History Channel. It is fast-paced and covers the founding of the country.

I'd like to hear your reviews. It seems that the producers are trying to set the record straight on a number of facts. I have found it engrossing. The 2 hour DVD is being sold for $7.95 USD.

They tried to cover too much chronological time, in too short a broadcast period, so had to skip over a lot, consequently what was presented, while colorfully done, was, in my opinion, not presented in sufficient detail.</font id="Comic Sans MS"></font id="size3"></font id="yellow">

I have seen all of the first 6 episodes and have enjoyed them. The thing impressing me the most is that they seem to be more honestly delivered. Little of the historical "skewing" we normally inject into our documentaries concerning America.

I am watching them "on demand" from my cable provider which is also very nice. I get to watch an entire episode at a sitting .. and they have broken out different segments into their own parts which allows me to go back and watch those parts that interest me the most a second or third time.
