I thought that you might enjoy a video outtake re: the above battlefield and the reenactors that are helping with 2 new films. The following ALHFAM e-mail from Martha describes the project.


For the past week I've been on location near Richmond for the filming of two videos that will be part of the new museum taking the place of the Yorktown Victory Center, and I thought that members of the ALHFAM list would be interested in seeing a short video and some stills taken by a photographer for our local paper. We had very long days, and even an overnight as we shot the taking of Redoubts 9 & 10 at the Siege of Yorktown, but the results will be very much worth it!

My role in this is as curatorial content specialist, so I (along with my colleagues from the museum's encampment) got to rule on whether the material culture was right or wrong. I did enjoy it and enjoyed working with our production company, Cortina Productions.
